Season 2, Episode 270: More Sadness and Grief

In this topical content episode, Michael revisits sadness, grief, and even death – as once again he received a sad phone call regarding the passing of his step-brother, Ronald Borgmeyer. And as if that weren’t bad enough to hear, he gets the news that his mother is in the hospital with atrial fibrillation and pneumonia, while his sister is in a room right down the hall from her, suffering from an obstructed bile duct.

Michael digs deep into the way our thoughts trigger our emotions and how we have the choice and the power to determine what we think and therefore, what we feel. This exploration reveals that sometimes our sadness is buried in the deeply hidden loss of our youth.
