Season 1, Episode 45: Who’s Driving Your Life?

In this topical content episode recorded in the rain-forests of Santa Cruz (okay, it was actually off my back deck, but the wildlife makes it sound like a rain-forest), I share with you what is a blend of conversation and coaching with a dear friend and client, the cartoonist, Justin Thompson.

Justin, the creator of the comic strip Mythtickle, has graciously agreed to let me make public some of the very personal issues that are coming up for him.

We will discuss:

  • Who’s the Captain of your boat?
  • Past life regressions
  • Depression and the Nowhere Man
  • Self-Love
  • The Stories we tell ourselves
  • … and more

“Self-love is not so vile a sin as self-neglecting.”
~ William Shakespeare  (Henry V: Act 2, Scene 3)

  1. Just listened to a couple podcasts of yours..good positive stuff, man..good. Justin Thompson reminds me of a friend of mine who became my boss. And he’s still a good guy. That said, I think most ‘conscient’ guys think the same way..nervous around our peers, nervous around women…some hide it better than others, perhaps. I’d like to share one thing, tho… Ever heard of ‘dance like nobody is watching’?.. Well, smile..smile like nobody is watching. Smiling attracts happy people…happy women! And that’s who you want in your life..the happy ones! Great cartoons, by the way..keep up the good work!

    • Hey Scott,
Thanks for joining the conversation, for listening to the show, and for your positive words. I agree with your thoughts about smiling, too – great advice!
